Are you between jobs, experiencing a long season of unemployment? Or perhaps you need to expand your skill base to improve your employability? Maybe you are a recent High School graduate who lacks the experience needed to enter the job market. Or maybe you have never worked and are seeking financial independence?

Maybe you are finding it difficult to manage the demands of parenting, struggling to keep your children equip your children with the skills to resist countless negative influences and peer pressure? Or maybe you need the support of the village in providing a safe space for your children to stay after school until your workday ends?

Our Advance project collaborates with multi-stakeholders – NGOs, Civil Organizations, State Agencies and Community-based Organizations, to provide the following services to the community:

Entrepreneurial Training

This includes training in market research, generating ideas for a business, start-up capital and accessing funding, writing a business proposal, pitching to investors, filing taxes and bookkeeping.

Job Skills Training

Participants will receive training in various soft and technical skills including Effective Communication, Time Management, Team Building, Microsoft Office, Resume Writing, Job Interviewing Preparation, Basic IT, Programming, Supervisory Management, Administrative Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Clerical Skills, Remote Meeting, and Vocational Training in key industries such as construction, hospitality, beauty culture, garment construction & fashion design, interior design, soft furnishing & upholstery, agriculture - bee keeping, farming, animal husbandry, etc/ horticulture, etc.

Life Skills Training

Participants will receive training in conflict management and resolution, interpersonal communication, goal-setting, time management, stress management, self care and relaxation.

Finance & Investment Training

This will include market analysis & forecasting, stock market trading, capital investment, FX trading, real estate investment, etc.

Money Management Training

Participants will be taught goal-setting, personal budgeting, basic bookkeeping and records management, saving & investment.

Parenting Training

Participants will be taught biblical principles of parenting, positive discipline, behaviour modelling, training & grooming, and emotional intelligence.

Leadership Training

Training will include approaches to leadership, types of leaders, servant leadership, leading by example, accountability & integrity, justice & fairness, leadership and influence, being a visionary, compassion, kindness & empathy, effective communication, team building and conflict management, and interpersonal communication.

Youth Mentorship

Participants in the youth mentorship programme will be paired with adult mentors who will serve as guides, godly advisors and confidantes. Participants will be involved in a variety of personal development training activities. including, hygiene and personal grooming, etiquette, public speaking, job skills training, time management, goal-setting, budgeting, anger management, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Participants will also receive counselling support where needed.

After Care for Children

The After School Childcare Programme will provide reading, literacy and numeracy support, homework assistance, music, visual and performing arts training, and sporting activities.
